John Koehl

Chief Estimator

28 Years experience in masonry industry
23 Years experience in masonry estimating
Previous field experience includes working as a bricklayer.

Education: Architecture at IIT

John provides our clients job estimates, budgets, and value engineering ideas. His estimating accurracy is extremely high; over the past 25 years John has been in aggregate with 2% of our material estimates. John is skilled at estimating all types of masonry projects including CMU work, brick work, restoration and repair, precast installation and stone work, among others.

Bruce Bennett

Field Superintendent

32 years of work experience in the masonry industry
Previous field experience includes working as a laborer, bicklayer and foreman

Bruce Bennett is our full time field superintendant. His responsibilities include managing our enitre company's field operations including manpower and materials. Bruce provides support to our job site foremen and acts as a resource to help our customers. Bruce's honesty, sincerity and knowledge are unsurpassed. Let Bruce help you solve your masonry issues.

Certifications: OSHA 10 hour, OSHA 30 hour, harness safety, wall bracing, masonry codes and standards, flashing and moisture control


Christopher Collis

Project Manager/Estimator

22 Years experience in construction industry
14 Years experience working as a foreman
Previous field experience includes working as a laborer, bricklayer and foreman

Chris estimates jobs for our clients. He also handles managing projects from the start of masonry work to the finish. His responsibilities include inspecting construction documents, reviewing scopes, ordering/scheduling materials and equipment, and maintaining direct contact with clients throughout the project. Chris utilizes Tradesman 3D estimating software to create his estimates and prepare proposals.

Education: BS Psychology-Walden University 2012 (Summa Cum Laude)

Certifications: OSHA 30 hour, Green Advantage Certified


Lorel Sack

Office Manager

26 Years experience in the construction industry 30 Years experience in office administration

As our office manager, Lorel is responsible for completing month end accounting functions and assuring accuracy of the reports. She manages all aspects of accounts receivable including billing, collcetions and waiver submissions. Her other responsibilites include various financial administration duties, bank reconciliations, state and local sales tax reporting, insurance and union aduits, and management and performance of daily general office functions as needed.

Education: AAS Business Management - McHenry County College (fall 2012)

Certifications: First Aid, CPR/AED Adult


Jennifer Surovitz

Human Resource Manager

13 Years experience in construction industry
16 Years experience in office administration

As our human resource manager, Jennifer is responsible for all aspects of payroll, union reporting and payments, insurance, certified payrolls, employee documentation requirements and other human resource funtions. She is also manages accounts payable including waiver requests.
