South Barrington WWTF

PROJECT DESCRIPTION:

The masonry on this project consisted of CMU walls located under the tower and a natural stone veneer around the base.  The stone used was a special flagstone quarried locally.  The pieces had to be hand cut in the field to achive the look the owner/architect wanted; to match existing structures in the area. The mortar used was buff colored to match the stone, and copper flashing to mitigate water intrusion.
